WIS Costume Guidelines for October 31st
Our student dress and grooming guidelines are in effect this day as well, but we will allow constumes to be worn consistent with the rules listed below. Because students will be arriving to school dressed in their costumes, the costumes should be appropriate for participating in regular school activities including bus transportation and gym. Please review the following rules as they apply to appropriate dress for this event.
Costumes should not reflect a violent nature or be immodest
Toy weapons such as knives, swords, pitchforks, etc. are not allowed
Masks may be worn during the parade only
Costumes that show or promote alcohol, drugs, or obscenities are not permitted
Costumes must be appropriate length (must cover mid-thigh). No bare midriffs or bare backs are allowed
Hats and Wigs will be permitted to be worn during the parade
Specials shoes that go with costumes are discouraged
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe!
