Calling all Dads, Grandpas, and Uncles:
You can have a positive impact on students by spending a day with them at school. Please consider being a WATCH D.O.G. at WIS for a day. If you're not sure what the program is then please join us for our WATCH D.O.G.S. Kickoff Night on Monday, September 17th, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. We will provide pizza, drinks, and snacks. There is a brief explanation of the program and how you can sign up.
Thank you for considering being a WATCH D.O.G.
The W.P.T.C annual Walk-a-thon will be held on Friday, September 21st. The walk-a-thon is a wonderful way to raise funds for the W.P.T.C. and our schools. All WIS students will walk to WPS, enjoy a treat, and walk back to WIS. Students must turn in their permission slip in order to participate in the walk-a-thon. If you have any questions, please contact the office at 708.562.1011.
Monday, September 17th is Fall Picture Day. Van Gogh Photographers will be at WIS to photograph all students for record keeping purposes. An informational letter and picture order form was sent home on September 10th. Should you wish to order pictures, please complete the order form and send back to school with payment by Monday, September 17th. On-line ordering is also available at vangoghphoto.com. If you have any questions, please contact the office at 708.562.1011.

Vision screening will be started in Fall, 2018. Vision screening is not a substitute for a complete eye and vision evaluation by an eye doctor. Your child is not required to undergo this vision screening if an optometrist or ophthalmologist has completed and signed a report form indicating that an examination has been administered within the previous 12 months. If you have any questions, please contact the WIS Health Office at 708-498-0095.
